Perfect Order Pokémon cards UK: ETB, RRP, chase cards

· 6 min read

Perfect Order is the third main expansion of the Mega Evolution series. It released in English on 27 March 2026 and is built around Mega Zygarde ex. This page covers what is in the set, the Tyrunt Elite Trainer Box at £50 from Argos, the chase cards and how to buy it at UK retail.

What Perfect Order is

Mega Evolution: Perfect Order is a mid-sized set: 88 cards in the main set plus 36 secret rares, 124 in total. It followed the enormous Ascended Heroes by two months and is less than half its size, which makes opening it a different experience. Fewer secret rares means each secret slot has a better chance of being one of the cards people want.

The set mascot is Mega Zygarde ex, and it takes two of the three top chase spots.

The product line

  • Booster box. Packs only, sold as a display.
  • Booster bundle. A small box of packs and nothing else.
  • Elite Trainer Box. Packs, sleeves and accessories, with a Tyrunt promo drawn in the illustration rare style.
  • Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box. Eleven packs and two Tyrunt promos. Sold only through Pokémon Center UK.
  • Build & Battle Box. The prerelease kit, also sold at retail.
  • Mega Zygarde ex Premium Collection. A collector box with the mascot as its promo.

The sensible buy

The booster bundle is the cheapest all-pack item and the one to buy if you want to open the set.

The Elite Trainer Box is the standard sealed pick. The Tyrunt promo is the exclusive part, and it is the reason the box is worth more than the packs inside it once the set leaves print. While the set is in print, the box is worth what Argos charges for it. Our ETB piece sets out the maths in full.

The Pokémon Center ETB is the collector version, with eleven packs and two Tyrunt promos, sold only through the official store. It is the item with a fixed supply and the one most people fail to buy.

The Mega Zygarde ex Premium Collection is for people who want the mascot promo. It is a separate product with a separate stock cycle.

Chase cards

Three cards lead the secondary market:

  1. Mega Zygarde ex Mega hyper rare.
  2. Meowth ex special illustration rare.
  3. Mega Zygarde ex special illustration rare.

Prices move daily, so we do not quote them. Two points. First, the mascot takes two of the three spots, so the set's value rests on Mega Zygarde. Second, the Meowth ex special illustration rare sits in the top three, which is a reminder that the art carries a card as much as the Pokémon does. Which Pokémon sets hold value covers why a set carried by one character behaves the way it does.

UK retail and RRP

Argos lists the Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box at £50.00. That is the verified UK price for this set. Smyths prices Mega Evolution Elite Trainer Boxes at £49.99, and booster bundles from the series at £24.99, although we have not confirmed the Perfect Order pages themselves.

Where to look: Argos, Smyths, Tesco, Amazon UK for the Amazon-sold listing only, and Pokémon Center UK for the stamped ETB. Where to buy Pokémon cards in the UK covers the rest of the map.

Anything above these prices is a resale margin, not a shop price.

Sealed versus open

Perfect Order is a main expansion from March 2026. It is in print, and main expansions are printed to demand. While that is true, sealed product has a ceiling at retail price, because every restock resets the resale market.

That makes sealed Perfect Order stock, not an asset. Buy at RRP to open or to sell into short gaps, and do not warehouse it on the theory that it will be worth more in five years. Sealed versus singles covers the alternative.

If you open it, the 36-card secret pool is on your side compared with a large set. Sell what you pull through how to sell Pokémon cards in the UK, and grade only what clears the bar in is grading worth it in the UK. If you buy the Mega Zygarde ex as a single, read how to spot fake Pokémon cards first.

How to buy at retail now

  • Accounts ready at Argos, Smyths, Tesco and Amazon UK, with card and address saved.
  • Bookmark the product pages. Searching during a restock costs the minute you do not have.
  • One order per retailer. Limits are enforced and duplicates get cancelled.
  • Check the shelf. Large stores get stock that never lists online.
  • Get an alert. Pokémon restock alerts in the UK explains what a useful one looks like.

Perfect Order has been out since March. It is not a launch-week set any more, and paying a reseller a premium for it makes even less sense than usual.
