Two of the LS1 shops behave like independents. Travelling Man is a small northern chain of comic and game shops. Geek Retreat is a franchise of gaming cafés. Both are classed as toy and game in our data because they are chains, but they buy and sell more like the independents below.

Two WHSmith records share LS19 7TU. That is one travel site counted twice, not two high street shops. The high street WHSmith estate is now TG Jones, and the LS1 6AW branch is that.

General retail, 35 locations:

B&M and Home Bargains together are 17 of the 35. Both carry the cheaper end and both get pallets that never appear on a website. Argos at 4 is the checkable one: per-store availability on every product page, reservable before you go.
