END. Launches guide: how End Clothing raffles work
This is the End Clothing raffle guide we give new members. It covers how END. Launches works, what to set up before entries open, the payment hold, and what gets an entry removed.
End is a Newcastle-founded retailer with a handful of UK shops and a large online business. For raffles that matters, because End's allocations are usually bigger than a boutique's and it ships to most of the world, so the entry pool is large too.
How END. Launches works
End runs every limited release through END. Launches, which is a separate section of the End site and lives in the END. app as well. Nothing hyped sells at a set time on the main store. If a pair is limited, it is a draw.
The pattern:
- The release is listed on END. Launches ahead of time with the price and the entry window.
- Entries open. Windows are typically a day or two.
- You sign in, pick a size, confirm your delivery address and your card.
- The window closes. Winners are picked at random.
- Winners get an email and a notification in the app. Losers get an email too.
Speed is irrelevant. Set your reminder for the close.
What you need before entries open
- An End account. Real name, real address, the email you actually read. Use the account you already order from.
- A card saved and funded. End places an authorisation for the full amount when you enter. A card without the funds fails at that moment and the entry is not recorded.
- Matching billing and delivery details. A billing address that does not match the card is the quiet failure that removes entries with no message.
- Your size decided. One size per entry and it cannot be changed after the window closes.
The payment hold
When you enter, End pre-authorises your card for the full price of the shoe plus delivery. Your bank shows it as pending. If you lose, the authorisation is released, and depending on the bank it can take several days to disappear from the statement. If you win, it becomes the payment and the order is processed.
The money is unavailable for the length of the draw, so several End entries at once tie up a fair sum. And a declined authorisation is a failed entry. Check the balance before you confirm.
Odds, honestly
End's allocations are larger than a boutique's, but so is the pool. END. Launches is open to most countries and the site is well known, so a hyped release draws entries from far beyond the UK. The odds on any one draw are poor.
What you can change is breadth. End is one retailer among several that will have the same pair. One honest entry at each is the only edge available.
Why End removes entries
Entries that share details are grouped and removed, and accounts that keep doing it are closed.
Things that get entries removed:
- Multiple accounts to one delivery address.
- A card already used on another entry for the same release.
- Billing details that do not match the card.
- A freight forwarder, reshipper or locker used to hide a duplicate address.
- Many accounts created from one device.
The removal is quiet. You get no message, you simply do not win.
After you win
The win email confirms the size, the charge and the expected dispatch. Because the authorisation already covers the price, there is normally nothing to pay. Some releases are marked as in-store collection at a named shop, and the launch page makes that clear before you enter, so read it.
Is an End win worth money?
Check the resale price before you enter, not after. Once fees and postage come off, a pair that resells close to retail is a wearer, not a flip. End's collaborations and premium runs often hold a premium. Many general releases do not.
If you want the shoes to wear, the resale price does not matter.

Common questions
How do End Clothing raffles work?
End runs limited releases as random draws through END. Launches, on the site and in the END. app. You enter during a window with a size, address and card. A payment authorisation is placed at entry. After the window closes winners are chosen at random and told by email and app notification.
Does End charge you when you enter a raffle?
End places a pre-authorisation for the full price plus delivery when you enter. It shows as pending on your statement. If you lose, it is released, which can take several days to clear from your bank. If you win, it becomes the payment and the order is dispatched.
Can I enter an END. Launches draw more than once?
No. End groups entries that share a name, address, card, phone number or device and removes them, usually all of them and without telling you. Accounts that keep doing it are closed. One entry per person with real details is the only approach that lasts.
When does End announce raffle winners?
Usually within a day or two of the window closing, by email and by a notification in the END. app. Losing entries get an email as well. If nothing has arrived after a few days, check the spam folder and the launches section of your account.
Are End Clothing raffle odds better than JD Sports?
Not reliably. End often has a larger allocation than a boutique, but its draws are open to most of the world, so the pool is large. JD's allocation is bigger and its pool is mostly UK. Neither is good. Entering both is what improves your chances.
Where this fits
End is the largest of the online launch systems in UK sneaker raffles explained. The same pairs usually appear at JD Sports, Size?, Footpatrol and Offspring, and each has its own guide. Paragn Network members get raffle reminders and a release calendar, which is mostly what stops people missing the close.
