Two tracker sites publish estimated windows, updated monthly, based on the production cycle. Where the window says "est.", it is a tracker estimate. Where it says "lego.com", LEGO has confirmed the set is retiring, and any month beside it is still the tracker's.

Several sets carry a July 2026 window. That month has passed. If a set with a July window is still on lego.com, the estimate was early; if it is gone, it has gone.

The lego.com retiring-soon page also carried a run of smaller sets between £8.99 and £79.99 on 1 September. Most sit under the price where posting a LEGO box makes sense, so they are not on the table.

Which of these appreciate

How to buy at RRP before retirement

• Buy from lego.com when it confirms. The retiring-soon flag is the one piece of information LEGO gives you. When a set you want appears there, buy it at RRP from lego.com or from a UK chain.
• Use discounts on sets with a December window. Argos, Smyths, John Lewis and the supermarkets discount LEGO, a set months from retiring can wait for 20% off.
• Do not chase July-window sets at a premium. If a set has already gone from lego.com, the retail moment has passed.
• Set a budget per set, not per list. Pick the few that fit the profile above.
